Blueberry Lassi Recipe

Blueberry lassi flavored with cardamom is the best drink for summer. Nothing quenches summer heat like a tall glass of flavored lassi. This delicious blueberry lassi combines the goodness of yogurt with fresh (or frozen) blueberries.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Blueberries
  • 1 Cup Plain Yogurt Use Greek yogurt or homemade yogurt made with full fat milk
  • 1 Cup Milk I use whole milk
  • ½ teaspoon Cardamom powder
  • 2 Tablespoon Honey Can use sugar or other sweetener
  • as needed Ice If using fresh bluberries.

Instructions

  • Wash and clean the blueberries. If using frozen berries, use them straight from the freezer. Do not thaw.
  • Add the blueberries, yogurt, milk, sweetener, and cardamom powder to the blender jar.
    1 Cup Blueberries, 1 Cup Plain Yogurt, 1 Cup Milk, ½ teaspoon Cardamom powder, 2 Tablespoon Honey, as needed Ice
  • Blend them well until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour in tall glasses and enjoy.

Notes

Expert tips
  • Use fresh blueberries when in season to make this blueberry lassi.
  • Sweeteners can be adjusted depending on how sweet the blueberries are. The berries that I used this time were very sweet and I did not need much honey in the recipe at all.
  • Serve the lassi cold.
  • Use yogurt that is not sour.
